About Wakuli

We love great coffee. That’s why we’re building an alternative coffee industry that actually works. For both farmers and consumers.

How? By working directly with farmer groups around the world. We set up transparent, traceable export lines, roast the beans ourselves and sell the coffee straight to customers. So no unnecessary middlemen or resellers. Those short supply chains make sure farmers always get a good price.

You’ll find us in 17 (and counting) bars across the Netherlands, and online through our own platform. For customers, that means freshly roasted specialty coffee that’s easy to access, relatively affordable and just seriously delicious.

Your role

As CRM marketeer you focus on the bottom funnel part of online marketing: website optimization, conversion rates, email marketing, retention rates and Customer Lifetime Value (CLTV). You are responsible for driving online revenue growth through strategic e-commerce management and data-driven CRM campaigns. This is a hands-on role. You are responsible for ideation AND execution.

You'll be the bridge between our digital presence and customer relationships, ensuring seamless new product launches, optimized landing page experiences, and personalized email marketing that converts. Your role combines creative marketing execution with analytical rigor, using data insights to identify opportunities, lead independent projects, and continuously optimize our customer journey. You'll maintain Wakuli's brand standards while managing and updating website contents, always keeping our customers' needs at the center of every campaign and initiative.


This role offers the exciting opportunity to execute our multichannel marketing strategy while working directly with our diverse international team across multiple departments, from design to operations, ensuring every touch-point reflects Wakuli's mission to revolutionize the coffee industry.

Job requirements

Your Mission

  • Drive ecommerce excellence and new product launches: Manage strategic ecommerce operations with focus on new product introductions (NPIs), content management and landing page optimization. Translate your vision into clear briefings for our designers and developers, ensuring seamless product launches that maximize market impact and maintain brand standards.

  • Master email marketing campaigns: Excel at both automated email flows and weekly campaigns to maximize customer engagement and lifetime value. Build sophisticated nurture sequences, welcome series, abandoned cart flows, and post-purchase campaigns while continuously A/B testing to achieve industry-leading metrics.

  • Lead data-driven marketing initiatives: Leverage analytics to uncover new growth opportunities across e-commerce and CRM channels, then independently lead projects from conception to completion. Use customer behaviour data and campaign performance insights to identify untapped segments and optimize conversion funnels.

  • Maintain brand excellence across all touch-points: Ensure every email, landing page, product launch, and customer communication reflects Wakuli's distinctive brand voice and premium quality while staying current with design trends and competitive landscape.

What we’re looking for

  • 1-4 years of relevant marketing experience, preferably in CRM and e-commerce roles.

  • Hands-on: you pride yourself on your capability to execute

  • Dutch and English fluency — preference for native Dutch speakers

  • Shopify experience and strong understanding of e-commerce platforms

  • Email marketing expertise, preferably with Klaviyo

  • Strong analytical skills: comfortable with data analysis, reporting, and turning insights into actionable strategies

  • Creative and brand acumen with excellent writing and communication skills

  • Customer-centric mindset with passion for delivering exceptional user experiences

  • Self-development oriented — eager to learn and grow in a fast-paced startup environment

  • Eye for detail - you do not need a second pair of eyes to deliver high quality

  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across teams
